I believe the therapeutic process is a collaborative effort, and I am honored to have the opportunity to see life transformation happen with my clients. My goal is to work side by side with my clients to help them reach their life’s objective. I will do this through utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused therapy, and a Person-centered approach, as well as always leaning on God’s wisdom and direction. For me this means focusing on the client and helping them recognize what tools they can use to reach their goals. While techniques will be used, my main purpose of each session is for the client to feel seen and understood. Difficult conversations will happen, and I want to provide a space where the client feels comfortable bringing up any topic they want to discuss.
I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University and my Bachelor’s degree in Brain and Behavioral Sciences and Religious Studies from Purdue University. I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life-transitions, boundary problems, self-image issues, and relationship problems.
In my free time I love reading, spending time with family/friends, and going on long walks. I am also a Kansas girl at heart, so you can always find me cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks during basketball season!
