Hollye Chaumont, Counselor In Training (CIT)
Hi! My name is Hollye Renee Chaumont. I have 12 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults within various fields including non-profit organizations. My life experience gives me a unique perspective that allows me to relate with clients from all walks of life. When you are going through something difficult, it can often feel like you are all alone. Reaching out to a counselor can be scary, but I want you to know that you are not alone. We all have times when we need a listening ear and a voice of hope. My hope is to offer a safe space and give you the freedom to be yourself as we build a trusted therapeutic relationship that will allow you to grow so that you can connect and live more fully into your true identity.
Hollye received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary and her Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Administration with an emphasis on Therapeutic Recreation from Texas State University. Hollye works within a whole person approach framework, recognizing that biological, psychological, social, and spiritual elements shape our lives in different ways. She is passionate about accepting people right where they are at while fostering growth at the client’s own pace. Hollye delights in helping people discover their own answers by collaborating together to establish goals while promoting psychological healing and emotional peace. She has gained experience with helping college-aged students and adults in the midst of transition, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, OCD, eating disorders, sexual assault/abuse, and working through family relationships. Hollye enjoys biking, reading, playing with her daughter, and a good cup of coffee.
