Dwain Sliger, M.Div, MA, LPC, CRAADC, MCHC
M. Scott Peck reminds us, “The truth is our finest moments are likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy or unfulfilled, for it is only such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways of truer answers.”
Dwain E. Sliger welcomes motivated individuals, couples, and families into his practice who are seeking to step out and become a better version of themselves.
“I believe in the healing power of therapy. The word "therapy" from its Latin and Greek origins, signifies "curing" or "healing." In the New Testament, it conveys the meaning of "to heal, to cure, to restore to health." When engaging in therapy, it is important to understand that it is not a magical solution, but rather a sacred space where a genuine and ongoing relationship is established. Within this therapeutic alliance, you can find objectivity, honesty, and a nonjudgmental presence, all working together to integrate experiences and facilitate the achievement of treatment goals.” Dwain E. Sliger.
