Laura Ampleman, M.Ed., LPC
Laura Ampleman is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Missouri. Laura received her undergraduate degree in Education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She received her Graduate degree in Counseling at South Dakota State University and has over 20 years of counseling experience. Laura is a former teacher and school counselor. Laura is passionate about her work with children, adolescents, couples, and families. Laura believes that all individuals can reach their God-given potential when they are empowered with the tools to heal.
Laura utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach, applying a variety of evidence-based practices, including: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Play Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, Brainwise, and Virtue-Based Restorative practices.

Laura has led social skills groups, groups for children of divorce, and coping skills groups for teens. Laura has worked as a consultant to school staff by providing intervention strategies for behavior management.
